Downtown Colorado Springs Colorado

During the Gold Rush in Cripple Creek in the 1890’s, millionaires built their homes in nearby Downtown Colorado Springs CO in what is now known as the Old North End. Also known as Millionaire’s Row, the wealthy were building their mansions, but workmen were also flooding into the area, and homes for the working people were going up rapidly in the surrounding area. These modest dwellings were not as plush, but are still rich with history, and were built in the late 1800’s and the early 1900’s.
