There are so many things to do over the next few days, here are just a few highlights that might be good for your Holiday enjoyment. My personal favorite is the Holiday Evening at Rock Ledge Ranch that is going on today, December 11, starting at 4:00.
Sixty-nine years ago today, Germany declared war on the United States. Today at 2:00 at the Pioneer Museum in Downtown Colorado Springs there will be a portrayal of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the complicated times surrounding our entering WWII.
At noon today, the annual Snowflakes and Smiles Parade will be held in Downtown Manitou Springs, and will end at the Town Clock with cookies, cider and Santa. They are requesting a canned-good item.
Today at 2:00, New Life Church is offering a free presentation of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Come see what happens when the meanest kids in school take over the local church Christmas pageant.
Also tonight in Downtown Colorado Springs is the Concert Band Winter Concert. This gathering will begin at 7:30 PM at Packard Hall on Colorado College Campus. Lasting until midnight, admission is free. Come for all or part of this special presentation.
Also free today at 3:00 PM in Downtown Colorado Springs at the First United Methodist Church will be beautiful Christmas music presented by the Soli Deo Gloria Community Choir. They are asking for a donation of a non-perishable canned food.
So that should keep you busy for the weekend. If this isn’t enough and you need more suggestions, just let me know 😉
