and other times . . . well. For instance, when my husband and I took a much-needed break and ‘ran away’ to Spearfish, South Dakota to visit my brother and his wife. Perfect weather, gracious hosts, lovely town.
Wanting to explore, we got up early and had breakfast in a quaint restaurant, and then drove around seeing the town and its sites. Taking pictures as we drove along, I looked up from my camera just as we passed a street that had a large sculpture. Not getting a clear look, I exclaimed to my husband that there was a neat statue on the previous block that I would like to go back and photograph. I explained that it looked like a very large trout that had jumped out of the water and was suspended in air with an arrow through it.
“You mean like a SPEARFISH?” my husband teasingly replied. Um, duh . . .
