Holiday fun for the entire family, the 22nd Annual Electric Safari at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has over a million lights on display, as well as 40 animated light sculptures. In addition to Santa, there will be warming fires and special animal exhibits that will be open only during this special event.
In a season when we often get lost in the busyness that surrounds us, the Holiday Evening at Rock Ledge Ranch is a perfect way to relax and unwind and enjoy the special spirit of what the holidays looked like in the ‘olden days.’
A new and fun event taking place during the Holiday Season in Downtown Colorado Springs is Skate in the Park. Acacia Park is host to a synthetic ice skating rink thru December 9, 2012.
One of my favorite holiday traditions in Downtown Colorado Springs is the Holiday Stroll held on Tejon Street each year. Lots of wanderings minstrels and entertainers and special food and deals from participating merchants, this FREE event is a delight for any age.
