For many years, I enjoyed a successful Real Estate career as Mimi Foster. While I was quite fortunate to marry the incomparable Mr. David Feith, my name then became, “Mimi How-do-you-pronounce-your-last-name?” It seems like such a simple name, but even my husband’s family is not consistent in their pronunciation. In whatever manner the first person at Ellis Island pronounced it as the family members disembarked generations ago, is how that branch of the family continued to pronounce it.
So after immeasurable times of saying, “It’s pronounced ‘Feith like Keith,’” I have decided to simplify my life and go back to using Foster for my last name insofar as it pertains to my real estate business. It is how my clients and my fellow Realtors have known me for many years.
Over the next few months, you will see our name change taking place – on our signs, in our marketing, when I identify myself =). We will still provide you with the same commitment and respect that you have always enjoyed when using our services. For those of you who have been concerned at the name change and been kind enough to ask, let me assure you that I am still very happily married to the nicest human I have ever known (and he’s pretty crazy about me, too).
Quality article, cool blog theme, keep up the good work
